With a background in private equity, healthcare consulting, pharmaceuticals, and frontend development, I established Plunge to provide the type of healthcare I aspired to receive: non-dogmatic, preventative, and dedicated to continuously integrating cutting-edge research that enhances quality of life.
Unfortunately, I was too late to build this. A few years ago, I lost both parents to cancer that was detected too late. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer after visiting her doctor for what seemed like routine back pain. Later, my father died after what doctors initially dismissed as piriformis syndrome from cycling turned out to be stage 4 prostate cancer. Before that, he'd suffered a heart attack without any previous indications of atherosclerosis. These experiences have reinforced the importance of preventative care and the need for individuals to take a proactive role in their health.
By establishing an advanced clinic like Plunge, which focuses on prevention and early detection, I hope to assist you and your loved ones in avoiding similar tragedies and enjoying long, healthy lives.
